MARCEL LIVET SKIS
Yes, of course! When we talk about ‘wooden skis’, it is important to understand that we are referring to the core of the ski, which is made entirely of wood and is the heart of the ski. The woods used are materials with characteristics that are perfectly suited to skiing and have long been used in the construction of high-quality skis.
This core is combined with a composite of technical fibre fabrics that provide mechanical characteristics complementary to those of wood. This results in a product that is perfectly flexible and elastic, designed for the skier's enjoyment.
Mechanically, wood is a resistant material that will ensure the mechanical performance of the skis over time. It is an excellent guarantee of the skis' longevity.
Aesthetically, the surface of the skis is protected by a layer of hard resin, followed by several successive layers of varnish. This ensures that the wood is perfectly insulated and resistant to scratches and impacts encountered when skiing. However, our skis remain refined and valuable products, and it is therefore necessary to treat them with greater care. The maintenance and attention you give them will be the best protection.

WOODEN SKI ORDERS
To place an order, all products are available for purchase on our website www.marcel-livet.fr as well as in our partner shops in France: Partner shops
All our models are available for testing. We offer you the opportunity to test our skis for a day or a weekend. You will find our prices and rental terms on our ‘test our skis’ page. If you have any questions about rentals, you can contact us by email: bonjour@marcel-livet.fr or by telephone: 04 58 10 15 27, Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 6pm. At the same time, equipment tests can be carried out at our partner retailers. Please do not hesitate to contact us for more information.
Yes, we offer the option to personalise your own pair of Marcel Livet skis. Write the text you would like engraved (maximum 25 characters).
The engraving will be inscribed on both skis. For orders of skis available in stock, we ship within 12 working days (with bindings fitted). Delivery time depends on your address, but is generally between 2 and 5 working days. Interested in personalisation? Visit the product pages to choose your inscription: wooden skis.
For orders of skis available in stock, we dispatch the order within 5 working days (including the fitting of bindings). Delivery time then depends on your address, but is generally between 2 and 5 working days. For orders of customised skis, please allow an average of 5 additional days.
You may return your skis under one condition only: you must have purchased bare skis (without bindings or customisation).
If you inform Marcel Livet of your wish to cancel within 14 days of receiving your order and the skis are returned within 30 days of the date of receipt, and if they have not been altered, you will be refunded within 30 days of receipt of the product.
If you have ordered skis with bindings or customisation, the skis are customised to your boot size and cannot be exchanged or returned.
AFTER-SALES SERVICE
All our skis are guaranteed for a period of two years from the date of purchase.
The warranty covers defects related to the manufacture of the product, whether aesthetic or mechanical. However, damage related to skiing or misuse of the equipment by its owner is not covered.
