OUR COMMITMENTS TO MORE SUSTAINABLE MANUFACTURING

AN ANCHORAGE
IN THE HAUTE-SAVOIE REGION

We firmly believe that responsible manufacturing relies on local production, which is part of a local ecosystem and contributes to a more virtuous economy. We have opted for a short supply chain that eliminates most undesirable logistics flows.

Proud of our roots in the Haute-Savoie region, all Marcel Livet skis are manufactured within a 250 km radius of Annecy.

In practical terms, most of our manufacturing takes place in our workshop in Annecy, where we produce 12 of our 13 models. The rest is manufactured in Italy, on the other side of Mont Blanc, for our latest model, the Expert 94.

74% RECYCLABILITY

We believe it is our responsibility to innovate in order to offer products that are designed to last and can be recycled by new, developing industries.

Therefore, to improve recyclability, we have simplified the list of materials used and limited the use of plastics. Wood allows us to replace most of the plastic components in the construction. We achieve an average wood content of 70% in each ski. By combining metals (aluminium, steel and titanal) that can be recycled, the recyclability rate of skis at the end of their life reaches 74%.
